1. Acknowledgment of Terms
The primary traveler acknowledges that all travelers on their reservation are aware of and agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Agency/Planning Fees
All travelers agree that the agency/planning fee is non-refundable once paid.
3. Reservation Assignment for Additional Bookings
If any traveler books a cruise on this group cruise, the reservation will automatically be assigned to Knot & Compass, LLC, and all travelers on that reservation will be responsible for paying the agency/planning fee. This also applies if any traveler books another cruise during this sailing.
4. Travel Risks
Cruise travel involves inherent risks, including illness, delays, cancellations, or other unforeseen events. Travelers understand and accept these risks, and Knot & Compass, LLC is not responsible for such occurrences.
5. Travel Insurance
Travelers who choose not to purchase travel insurance acknowledge that they accept all associated risks and potential financial losses related to trip cancellations, interruptions, or emergencies.
6. Passport and Identification
Travelers who opt to use a birth certificate and government-issued photo ID instead of a passport understand that this may result in denied boarding, restricted port access, or re-entry issues, and they accept all related risks. All travelers using a passport must ensure that it is valid for at least six months past the date of return.
7. Payment Terms & Deadlines
All trip payments, including deposits and final balances, are due according to the schedule set by the cruise line. Knot & Compass, LLC will provide reminders and guidance, but travelers are responsible for complying with the cruise line’s payment deadlines. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation or loss of benefits according to the cruise line’s policies.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
All cancellations and refunds are subject to the cruise line’s policies. Knot & Compass, LLC is not responsible for any non-refundable portions of the cruise fare, including but not limited to deposits, fees, or penalties.
9. Behavior and Conduct
Travelers are expected to comply with all cruise line rules and regulations. Knot & Compass, LLC is not responsible for consequences resulting from inappropriate or unsafe behavior, including removal from the ship by the cruise line.
10. Medical and Health Disclaimer
Travelers are responsible for their own medical needs, medications, and health conditions. Knot & Compass, LLC is not responsible for any medical emergencies, treatment, or costs incurred during the cruise.
11. Minors and Dependent Travelers
Guardians are responsible for minors or dependent travelers in their party. Knot & Compass, LLC is not responsible for the care, supervision, or actions of minors.
12. Changes to Itinerary
Cruise itineraries, ports of call, and onboard activities are subject to change by the cruise line. Knot & Compass, LLC is not responsible for such changes, and any adjustments are governed by the cruise line’s policies.
13. Cruise Line Compliance
By completing a booking, travelers agree to comply with the cruise line’s terms, policies, and requirements, including any health, safety, or documentation rules.
14. Governing Law / Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes arising from the booking or services provided by Knot & Compass, LLC will be resolved in accordance with Maryland law.
